Restaurant du Vieux Pont occupies two adjoining houses linked by a 15th-century stone bridge, positioned along the Aveyron riverbanks. The dining spaces integrate both buildings with river views and offer à-la-carte selections and multi-course menus.

The space originated as a private residence of the Fagegaltier family, then evolved into a dining establishment. The mother's cooking heritage laid the groundwork for what became a Michelin-recognized kitchen.

The restaurant celebrates Aveyron's food traditions by working with local lamb, Aubrac beef, and Bigorre black pork prepared using time-honored French cooking methods. Diners experience how regional ingredients shape the character of each dish.

The restaurant opens for lunch Thursday through Sunday, with dinner service on select evenings only. Reservations are recommended, particularly on weekends, to secure a table in one of the historic dining rooms.

Sisters Nicole and Michele Fagegaltier source herbs from their own garden and ingredients from Rodez market. This hands-on approach to gathering fresh elements shapes the rhythm of daily kitchen work.
