Uni-Resort Mawudu
Uni-Resort Mawudu is a mountain hotel in Jinshan Village, Hsinchu County, Taiwan, offering wooden cabins, Japanese-style rooms, European-style rooms, and VIP suites. The property sits along a creek called Mawudu and has both outdoor and indoor pools as well as a spa, sauna, and steam center.
The resort went through a major renovation in 2011, updating its facilities and overall appearance. As part of that work, four villas on the property were given themed decorations that changed how the accommodation looked.
The resort sits in Guanxi, a region known as a town of long life that draws visitors seeking fresh mountain air and quiet. The property features four villas decorated with playful mascot characters named Open and Lock wearing different national costumes, giving the place a friendly character when you walk through.
The resort can be booked online in advance, and parking is available for guests who arrive by car. An elevator is on hand to help with luggage on the upper floors.
Since January 2015, the resort has asked guests to bring their own toiletries such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, and shaving items as part of a policy to cut down on plastic waste. This applies to all room types across the property.
