Leofoo Resort Guanshi
Leofoo Resort Guanshi is a large hotel in Guanxi, Hsinchu County, set in a natural area with trees and open spaces and located next to Leofoo Village Theme Park. The resort offers 161 rooms with African safari lodge design, large windows for outdoor views, two restaurants serving chemical-free food, an eco-friendly playground, and a gift shop with over 200 local products and Taiwanese designer items.
The resort was designed as Asia's first ecological hotel with inspiration from wild plants and animals. Its development next to Leofoo Village Theme Park created a place that combines nature conservation with leisure activities for visitors.
The resort's name links wildlife with the concept of a sanctuary. The architecture and decor feature African themes, including colorful murals by TingaTinga artists from North Africa, showing how the place celebrates another culture and immerses visitors in a different world.
The rooms are spacious with large windows offering views of the surrounding nature and animal habitats. The location is easy to reach, about 8 minutes walking distance from the theme park, and free shuttle buses connect the hotel to nearby attractions and the park.
Guests can watch zebras, rhinoceros and ostriches directly from their room windows as the animals roam freely in the surrounding area. This immediate proximity to wildlife is unusual in a hotel stay and makes every morning a special experience for visitors of all ages.
