Bennett's Calabash Seafood Buffet is an all-you-can-eat seafood restaurant in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, known for its wide spread of shrimp, crab legs, scallops, and fish dishes prepared in the Calabash style. The restaurant grew out of the Calabash cooking tradition, a style that developed in a small fishing town on the border of North and South Carolina. The dining room walls are lined with handcrafted ship models built by a local craftsman named Jimmy Frost. Each model reproduces details from real historical vessels, giving the room a character that goes beyond a typical seafood restaurant.
The restaurant sits along Highway 17 South and is easy to reach by car, with parking available on site. Coming outside of the main summer season generally means a shorter wait and more room to move around comfortably.
