The Old Walloon Cottage

The Old Walloon Cottage displays regional artifacts, documents, and photographs documenting the lives of Walloon settlers in the Sudetes mountains region.

During the 19th century, Walloon settlers established themselves in this area, bringing their expertise in mining, metallurgy, and processing of precious stones.

The museum preserves traditional crafts including blacksmithing, wood carving, stone grinding, and herbalism techniques passed down through generations of Walloon artisans.

The museum opens daily from 9:00 to 17:00 during summer holidays and from 10:00 to 15:00 during other seasons, with free admission for all visitors.

Within the cottage walls, visitors can examine numerous minerals extracted from the Sudetes mountains and learn about traditional stone processing methods.
