Mountain Breeze Lodge & Resort
Mountain Breeze Lodge & Resort is a mountain hotel near Amman that spreads across a large property with ten cabins built on the hillside. Each accommodation features a large patio, soft beds, and a good bathroom, while the grounds include a restaurant, a bar, two pools, and various activity areas such as a children's playground, an archery range, and a paintball arena.
The resort was built modeled after American mountain areas, offering a fresh perspective on tourism in Jordan. On the grounds stands a tree about 500 years old with a small treehouse beneath it, underscoring the historical character of the place and giving visitors insight into the long-lived nature of the landscape.
The resort's name reflects the cool mountain air that guests experience especially in the evenings. Visitors find a blend of rural charm and modern comfort here, with evening campfires and poolside gatherings forming the social heart of the place.
The resort sits about one hour north of central Amman and is easy to reach. The cabins have air conditioning, but in cooler months open windows and ceiling fans are usually enough to keep the space comfortably cool. Day-use visitors can also come to spend the day for a daily fee.
A signature feature is the tradition of evening campfires where guests can roast marshmallows, with staff lighting the fire and providing the marshmallows for toasting. Another surprising experience is encountering wild cats roaming the grounds who are typically friendly but occasionally protective of their young, and visitors may witness these gentle yet touching moments.
