Summer Stage
Summer Stage is a restaurant complex by the Danube Canal in Vienna with a terrace and pavilion. Multiple dining venues operate here, offering cuisines from around the world including Italian pizza, French bistro food, Latin American dishes, and Caribbean specialties.
The location has grown into a popular summer meeting spot in Vienna over time. It has developed from a simple outdoor space into an established venue with multiple restaurants and regular events along the canal.
The name Summer Stage reflects its role as a venue for warm-weather gatherings and performances. Visitors use the outdoor spaces to sit together, enjoy live music, and socialize in an informal, relaxed setting during the summer months.
The location is close to the U4 subway station Roßauer Lände and accessible by car with parking available nearby. The outdoor terrace gets crowded during warm months, so arriving earlier in the day or visiting on weekdays may offer a more relaxed experience.
Multiple specialized restaurants operate across the grounds, from Neapolitan pizza to Caribbean dishes, with Pastis serving fresh mussels and fries every Wednesday. Gratzls Fusion Kitchen offers sushi all-you-can-eat on Thursdays and special four-course dinners with guest chefs on Saturday evenings.
