Più, Italian restaurant in Europaallee, Zurich, Switzerland.
Più is an Italian restaurant in the Europaallee district of Zurich, housed in a converted postal hall with 7-meter-high ceilings and large windows. Natural light floods the space, creating an open and bright setting that defines the dining environment.
The restaurant opened in October 2017 within the renovated Sihlpost building, which had previously served as a postal facility for many years. The integration of around 90 antique telephone devices throughout the interior honors the postal heritage of the site and preserves its industrial past.
Large paintings of Naples by Berlin artist Christopher Lehmpfuhl adorn the walls, linking the restaurant's Neapolitan food traditions with contemporary visual art. These works create a connection between the Italian origins of the dishes and modern artistic expression.
The restaurant operates during extended hours starting from 11:30 AM through late evening, providing flexible timing for visits. The pizza dough undergoes a 48-hour rising process, so visitors should allow time for the careful preparation of each dish.
Chef Marco Malagnino comes from Venosa in the Basilicata region of southern Italy and prepares fresh pasta and pizzas using traditional Neapolitan methods. His background brings authentic understanding of regional techniques and ingredients to every dish served.
