XO Hotels Park West
XO Hotels Park West is a hotel in the western part of Amsterdam, spread across eight floors with rooms in different sizes for up to four guests. Each room is soundproofed and comes with air conditioning, WiFi, a flat-screen TV, a Nespresso machine, and a bathroom with a rainfall shower and underfloor heating.
The building first served as an office and later operated under the name Golden Tulip Amsterdam West before being converted into its current form. This change is part of a broader shift in western Amsterdam, where former office and industrial sites have gradually given way to residential and hospitality uses.
The hotel sits in the Bos en Lommer neighborhood, where Turkish bakeries, small supermarkets, and everyday shops line the streets. A short walk away, the Westergasfabriek is a former gas factory complex now used for markets, concerts, and art events.
The hotel has underground parking available for a fee and an electric vehicle charging point on site. Tram stops are right outside the door, and bicycles can be rented at the hotel, making it easy to get around the city.
Instead of standard minibars, the rooms have vending-style machines for drinks and snacks. The hotel bar and restaurant serve only non-alcoholic drinks, which is rare for a hotel in a major city.
