Siam Serpentarium

Siam Serpentarium is a snake museum and zoo featuring more than 70 snake species in dedicated indoor and outdoor areas with natural habitats. Each section includes information panels and environmental designs that show how these reptiles live in their native settings.

The facility was created to educate local residents about snakes as encounters in the Chao Phraya area increased over time. It developed as a response to the community's need for safety and understanding of these reptiles.

Daily demonstrations show how snakes are traditionally handled and respected in Thai culture. Visitors see how these reptiles fit into local life and what role they play in the community's relationship with nature.

The facility is open daily from Monday through Sunday with longer hours on weekends. Parking is available for visitors, and the layout allows enough time to see the different species and watch the demonstrations.

The facility runs specialized breeding programs for endangered snake species while providing research opportunities for scientists. This work helps stabilize wild populations and advance scientific knowledge about these reptiles.
