Museum of Cursed Soldiers and Political Prisoners of the Polish People’s Republic, Historical museum in Mokotów, Poland

The Museum of Cursed Soldiers and Political Prisoners occupies the former Mokotów Prison building, featuring exhibits across multiple pavilions and basement spaces.

The museum documents the period from 1945 to 1989 when numerous resistance fighters and political opponents faced imprisonment, torture, and execution by communist authorities.

Through personal artifacts, letters, and multimedia presentations, the museum preserves the memory of individuals who fought against political oppression in post-war Poland.

Located at 37 Rakowiecka Street in Warsaw, the museum presents three main exhibitions: The Secrets of Objects, The Evidence of a Crime, and Human Rights.
