The St. Regis Bali Resort
The St. Regis Bali Resort is a luxury hotel on the southern coast of Bali near Benoa, spread across nearly 20 acres of gardens and pathways. It contains 81 suites and 42 villas, with some featuring private pools or direct access to the lagoon pool and beach.
The resort opened in 2009 and has maintained its original appearance without major renovations since then. The timeless design demonstrates how well the architecture and layouts have endured over the years.
The restaurant Kayuputi draws its name from traditional Balinese cooking methods, now blended with Western techniques in the kitchen. Balinese Hindu design elements appear throughout the resort, from intricate woodcarvings to patterns on carpets and in the main lobby, reflecting the island's spiritual heritage.
The resort is easily reached via the Bali Mandara toll road, which crosses the Gulf of Benoa and connects to other southern areas of Bali. The airport is about 25 minutes away by car, making arrivals straightforward.
The Iridium Spa is decorated throughout with a butterfly theme and has eight private treatment rooms surrounded by ponds with koi fish. The spa features a Finnish sauna and a steam room with scents that change daily.
