Nusa Dua

Nusa Dua is a peninsula resort on Bali's southeastern coast featuring wide sandy beaches and upscale hotels overlooking the Indian Ocean. The planned layout includes maintained beaches, landscaped grounds, and numerous guest facilities throughout the area.

The Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation transformed this area from undeveloped land into a planned resort during the 1970s. This development established it as a major destination for international travelers visiting Bali.

The Puja Mandala complex displays five religious buildings side by side, from Hindu temples to mosques and churches. Visitors can observe how different faiths coexist peacefully in this shared space.

The area has security checkpoints at entry points, and traveling from the international airport takes roughly 40 minutes. It helps to familiarize yourself with the layout and main locations upon arrival.

Two small islands sit in the bay: one in the south accessible by a causeway and one in the north housing an ancient temple. These islands offer interesting destinations for boat trips and water-based activities.
