Jerman Beach

Jerman Beach extends along the northern side of Ngurah Rai International Airport, featuring black sand and rocky formations along its shoreline.

The beach received its name from German expatriates who settled in the area during the mid-twentieth century, transforming it from a traditional fishing village.

Local residents gather at the beach for traditional ceremonies, fishing activities, and community volleyball games throughout the year.

Visitors can reach the beach through a 15-minute walk from the Domestic Terminal, with parking fees ranging from 2,000 to 10,000 Indonesian Rupiah.

The location offers direct views of aircraft landing and taking off at the adjacent Ngurah Rai International Airport against the backdrop of ocean waves.
