Bali Museum

The Bali Shell Museum is a museum in Kuta that displays thousands of marine shells collected from around the world. The collection spreads across three floors and presents specimens from different oceans and marine environments, alongside fossils, whale bones, and other sea creatures.

The museum grew from a personal collection that began in childhood and eventually became Indonesia's first dedicated shell museum. International exhibition partnerships helped expand the collection and establish it as a recognized center for marine research.

The museum houses one of Asia's largest shell fossils, known as Crinions, which surprises visitors with its impressive size. Alongside this centerpiece sits a rare collection of whale bones that demonstrates the scope of ocean life.
