Balangan Viewpoint, Scenic viewpoint in Jimbaran, Indonesia
The Balangan Viewpoint presents a platform above limestone cliffs, offering views of the Indian Ocean, white sand beach, and surfers in the waves below.
The observation point emerged from an unpaved area without facilities into a structured viewing destination following the increase of tourism in South Bali.
Local fishermen continue their traditional practices along the shoreline while visitors observe their routines and techniques from the elevated vantage point.
Visitors can access the viewpoint through a dirt path from the main parking area, where motorcycles pay 5,000 IDR and cars 10,000 IDR for parking.
The limestone formations create natural frames for photographs, with the west-facing position allowing views of surfers navigating the left-hand wave breaks.
