Museum Agung Bung Karno

The Museum Agung Bung Karno stands as a four-story building housing extensive historical records, photographs, and personal belongings of Indonesia's first president.

Megawati Soekarnoputri inaugurated the museum in November 2015, following decades of document collection efforts by the Bung Karno Library Foundation since 1980.

The museum exhibits 40 paintings, hundreds of photographs, and 1.4 million documents that detail the life and leadership of President Sukarno.

Located on Jalan Raya Puputan 80 near Renon Square, the museum displays artifacts across four floors, while the fifth floor remains under construction.

The entrance showcases Sukarno's original presidential vehicle with plate number RI-1 and a statue of him reading the proclamation text.
