Seven Commandos Beach, Natural beach in El Nido, Philippines
A 100-meter stretch of white sand extends between tall limestone cliffs and turquoise waters of the South China Sea.
Seven soldiers became stranded on this beach during World War II, leading to the current name of this location.
Local vendors maintain the tradition of offering fresh coconuts and preparing dishes with fish caught directly from surrounding waters.
Access to the beach requires taking a boat from El Nido port as part of Tour A of the surrounding islands.
A large tree swing mounted at the water's edge allows visitors to swing above the crystal-clear waters.
