Karls Erlebnis-Dorf Elstal, Agricultural theme park in Wustermark, Germany
Karls Erlebnis-Dorf is a farm-based leisure park in Wustermark, about 20 kilometers west of Berlin. The site combines a large farmers market with rides, playgrounds, and animal encounters spread across a spacious outdoor area.
The current site grew from a strawberry farm that Karl Dahl founded in 1921, which developed into a family business over several decades. After reunification, the family expanded the operation into a leisure park with multiple locations across northern Germany.
The name honors the farm founder, whose strawberry business grew into a regional landmark. Visitors watch craftspeople making preserves and sweets using traditional methods in open workshops throughout the day.
Admission to the grounds is free, while individual rides and activities require separate payment. The village opens at 8 in the morning and closes at 7 in the evening, giving visitors a full day to explore the facilities.
A collection of 27,000 coffee pots in all shapes and colors holds a Guinness World Record and fills several rooms in the main building. Visitors discover pots made from porcelain, metal, and ceramic, sourced from different countries and decades.
