Kristall Palm Beach, Water park and thermal spa in Stein, Germany.
Kristall Palm Beach is a water park and thermal spa near Nuremberg with three main areas: a wave pool, a sauna world, and thermal baths filled with mineral-rich water. The facility spreads across different zones where visitors can move between water attractions, slides, and sauna sections.
The facility opened in 1979 as a sports and recreation pool and underwent major renovations after new ownership took over in 1993. These expansions transformed the original public bath into the present-day thermal and sauna resort.
The sauna area features Egyptian and Oriental architectural styles mixed with a traditional Bavarian sauna village in the outdoor section. Visitors experience these different design influences as they move between indoor rooms and outdoor spaces.
The site is easily accessible and visitors can choose between day passes or time-limited tickets granting access to individual sections or combinations of different areas. It helps to plan which sections you want to explore beforehand to select the right ticket option.
The complex features around 15 different water slides and keeps the thermal pools at temperatures between 29 and 31 degrees Celsius year-round. This consistent warmth makes a visit pleasant regardless of the outside weather at any time of year.
