The bar opened as part of the Vincci Porto hotel development, converting a former fish market area into a modern gathering spot. This transformation marked how a traditional port district evolved into a contemporary leisure destination.

The bar blends Portuguese wine traditions with contemporary mixology, serving regional Porto wines alongside international cocktails in a space where locals and visitors gather. The drink selection reflects how local winemaking heritage meets modern bartending techniques.

The bar operates daily and sits at an elevated location within the hotel, requiring visitors to use the elevator to reach it. During warm months, the terrace offers the best spot to watch the river, while indoor areas feel more pleasant during colder seasons.

From the terrace, guests can see six different bridges crossing the Douro River, making the spot a natural viewpoint for the river landscape. This position offers a rare perspective on multiple historical and modern structures at once.
