Golf Club Föhr e.V., Golf course in Nieblum, Germany.
Golf Club Föhr e.V. is a 27-hole course on Föhr Island that stretches across flat terrain with water hazards, ponds, and bunkers. The layout follows the natural character of the northern German heath landscape with open spaces and boggy areas.
The course was founded in 1925 as a golfing facility on the island. In 2015, twelve holes were redesigned and modernized by the Scottish company Greenmakers by Nelson&Vecchio.
The facility maintains traditional Nordic golfing standards while integrating modern design elements that reflect the natural features of the Föhr Island environment.
Golfers need a minimum handicap of 54 and must belong to a golf association. Access is easiest for members, while guests should arrange visits in advance.
The facility offers extensive training options with 25 driving range tees. Additionally, a putting green, short game area, chipping zone, and practice bunker are available.
