Golf Club Carimate

Golf Club Carimate is an 18-hole course in Lombardy set within a wooded landscape featuring maple, birch, chestnut, cedar, and pine trees. The clubhouse includes dining facilities and recreational spaces designed to serve both golfers and their guests throughout the day.

The club was established in 1962 through collaboration between an architect and a renowned furniture designer. Its creation marked an era when golf was becoming established in northern Italy.

The restaurant displays original design furniture by Vico Magistretti, featuring red wooden and wicker chairs that have been part of the space for decades. This interior design choice reflects a commitment to Italian modernist aesthetics throughout the clubhouse.

The course is open for play on most weekdays and weekends, with varying conditions depending on the season. Full facilities are available including a clubhouse with dining and rest areas for visitors.

Each of the 18 holes carries the name of a specific tree species that characterizes the fairway and surrounding terrain. This naming system reveals how the course design closely intertwines with the natural woodland landscape.
