Spiaggia Sabina, Mediterranean beach in Golfo Aranci, Italy.
Spiaggia Sabina is a beach on Sardinia's coast with fine white sand stretching about 300 meters along the bay. The shoreline is sheltered by two rocky headlands and framed by Mediterranean vegetation including juniper and aromatic shrubs.
The name comes from a botanical mix-up where the local Phoenician juniper was wrongly identified as Savin juniper. This misidentification stuck and shaped how the place has been called ever since.
The beach serves as a gathering place where locals and visitors share the coastal lifestyle typical of this region. The way people use the water and sand reflects how the place fits into daily rhythms here.
The beach has chair and umbrella rentals along with restaurants and bars that mainly operate in the summer months. It helps to arrive early if you want a good spot and to find the cove less crowded.
The water gradually deepens and creates natural swimming areas with varying depths. The cove adjoins a marine protected area that invites exploration of local sea life.
