Golfo Aranci

Golfo Aranci is a coastal town in the Province of Sassari on Sardinia's Mediterranean shore. The settlement stretches along white sand beaches and sits at the water's edge.

The settlement began as a fishing port around the middle of the 18th century and gradually grew into a small harbor town. It became an official municipality in 1979 when it joined the Province of Sassari.

The name comes from the local dialect and means Gulf of Crabs, reflecting how deeply the sea and fishing shaped life here. This maritime connection remains visible in how residents relate to their coastal surroundings.
