Spiaggia Mannena

Spiaggia Mannena is a public beach on Sardinia's northeastern coast with a wide sandy shoreline extending several kilometers. The water displays shades of blue and green that vary depending on depth and light.

The beach developed as part of Arzachena's transformation from a rural village into a coastal tourist destination starting in the 1960s. This shift brought infrastructure and settlement to shorelines that were previously quiet and undeveloped.

The beach serves as a gathering place where locals and visitors mix throughout the warmer months. It functions as a social hub where people come to enjoy the coast, rather than simply a scenic backdrop.

The beach has food and drink vendors, umbrella rentals, and paid parking nearby. It is best to arrive early in the day to experience it with fewer crowds, especially during warmer months.

The swimming area is marked by a line of buoys positioned about 100 meters offshore, creating a designated zone for swimmers. This separation keeps boats and other watercraft away from people in the water.
