Golf du Val de Cher

Golf du Val de Cher is an 18-hole course stretching approximately 5300 meters with a par of 70, laid out through a landscape of mature oak trees. The holes wind across land positioned between a castle and the Cher River.

The course was founded in 1983 following the vision of architect Gérard Vigand, who designed the layout between a historical castle and the river. This original concept shaped how the course was built from the start.

The course brings together golfers from the surrounding area and beyond who gather here regularly throughout the year. Players appreciate not only the game itself but also the opportunity to meet others who share their passion for golf.

The course is open on weekdays with extended hours on weekends, and visitors should call ahead to check availability and conditions. The terrain is relatively flat to gently rolling, making it comfortable to walk between holes.

The final holes run directly along the banks of the Cher River with water views, offering a dramatic finish to a round. This section is one of the most memorable parts of playing here.
