Golf de Troyes la Cordelière, Golf course in Chaource, France
Golf de Troyes la Cordelière is an 18-hole golf course near Chaource in France with a par of 72. The layout stretches across 5900 meters of rolling terrain with ponds and mature trees at the base of Château de la Cordelière.
The estate once belonged to the Counts Chandon de Briailles family before being converted into a golf course. Architect Joseph Hirigoyen designed the current layout and integrated the existing structures into his plan.
The course brings together local golfers who gather regularly and spend time together after their rounds. These social moments between players shape daily life on the grounds just as much as the game itself.
The course is open daily from early morning into the afternoon and accommodates players of all levels. Visitors should prepare for weather changes since the open terrain offers little shelter and sturdy footwear is recommended.
The grounds feature century-old trees that make play technically challenging on many holes. These mature trees define the character of the course and demand skillful shots from players navigating around them.
