The greenhouse maintains specific temperatures between 22 and 28 degrees Celsius with 80 percent humidity to create suitable environments for butterfly species.

The establishment began as a conservation project, focusing on preserving butterfly species from Asia, Africa, Central America, and South America through controlled breeding programs.

Visitors learn about butterfly migration patterns, life cycles, and ecological roles through educational presentations and direct observation of multiple species in flight.

The facility operates from April through September, with summer hours from 10:30 to 18:30, charging 7 euros for adults and 5.50 euros for children.

Over 600 butterflies inhabit the greenhouse, representing species from Madagascar, India, and China, with new specimens arriving every week during operational seasons.
