Papugarnia Mazury
Papugarnia Mazury is a facility with more than 80 parrots of various species that fly freely indoors and interact with visitors. An additional outdoor section contains tame squirrels, rabbits, pheasants, geese and ducks that can be observed or fed.
The facility began as a local initiative to preserve and present exotic birds and small animals in the Masuria region. Since its establishment, it has continually expanded and added new animal species in 2024.
The name reflects the Masuria region combined with its parrot focus. Visitors experience how the birds interact freely in the space and engage with people, offering a glimpse into their social nature and daily movements.
Visitors should wear comfortable clothes and allow time for observation and feeding the animals. It is important to remove jewelry and watches to avoid disturbing the animals, and to avoid using camera flash when photographing.
Some parrots have names and distinct personalities, allowing regular visitors to develop favorites. The squirrels can be particularly agile and quick when eating, making them interesting subjects for photography.
