Construction Insolite - Musée des Arts Buissonniers

The Construction Insolite features stone vaults, sculpted columns, forged metal pieces, mosaics, and ceramics overlooking the village of Saint-Sever-du-Moustier.

The artistic project began in 2003 and has evolved through contributions from over 1000 participants, drawing inspiration from artists like Gaudi and Facteur Cheval.

The museum exhibits raw art collections alongside the Paul Amar Gallery, which displays fantastical shell-based creations painted with nail polish and decorated with glitter.

The museum operates with a pay-what-you-wish system and provides guided tours, artistic workshops, treasure hunts, and accommodates groups of up to 50 visitors.

A sculpture garden established in 2010 continues to expand annually with new red sandstone statues created during artist residency programs.
