Aventure de la Bresse

Aventure de la Bresse is a treetop adventure park in Saint-Étienne-du-Bois with over 100 stations at varying heights among the forest canopy. The facility combines traditional obstacles like ropes and ladders with modern features such as zip lines and jump platforms.

The park was established in the early 2000s and uses a centuries-old forest formation of Saint-Étienne-du-Bois with sturdy trees as natural supports. This conversion of ancient trees into climbing elements represents a modern use of historically rooted nature.

The site displays photography exhibitions by Vincent Munier that document the natural world of the Jura mountains and offer artistic perspectives on the landscape. These installations tell stories about the region's wildlife and plants through visual works.

A visit works best on quieter weekdays when lines are shorter and more time is available for each station. Visitors should wear sturdy shoes and bring adequate fitness for movements at height.

The highlight for daring visitors is the Big Air Jump, where jumpers leap from platforms 5 to 7 meters high onto specialized inflated landing cushions. This activity delivers an unexpected adrenaline moment that feels different from the other obstacles.
