Trzy kopce graniczne is a hilltop tourist attraction in the Silesian Beskids near Wisła, sitting at around 2,650 ft (810 m) above sea level on the point where the boundaries of Wisła, Brenna, and Ustroń meet. The summit area is covered by spruce and mixed forest, with open clearings that give broad views over the surrounding ridges.
The name of this site comes from an old practice of marking boundaries between settlements by piling up stones or earth, known as kopce. These boundary markers were recorded on maps over the centuries and are now considered historical landmarks in the region.
Several marked trails lead to the summit from Wisła and Brenna, with the green trail from Brenna being a gentler option for families. Whatever the season, sturdy footwear and a rain layer are a good idea, as mountain weather can change fast.
Despite the name suggesting three mounds, there are no three visible hills at the summit: the name refers to historical boundary points, not to landforms. Near the top there is a small shelter called Telesforówka, where visitors can stay overnight and eat simple food.
