Hohe Warte 29, Private villa in Döbling district, Vienna, Austria.

Hohe Warte 29 was a two-story villa in Vienna's Döbling district with seventeen rooms designed for both living and specialized activities. The house included reception areas, a gymnasium, and a rooftop observatory topped with a dome, making it a complete private residence for someone with diverse interests.

Architect Max Fabiani redesigned the original one-story house into an expanded villa in 1896, incorporating contemporary modern design principles. The building remained part of Vienna's upscale residential landscape until it was demolished in 1978.

The residence attracted numerous notable tenants including conductor Herbert von Karajan and futurist Robert Jungk before its demolition in 1978.

The original building no longer exists, but its former location at coordinates 48.251266, 16.354121 can still be identified in the neighborhood. A modern residential complex now stands at this address, Reimersgasse 16, making the historical site easy to locate when visiting the area.

The property featured extensive gardens with a swimming pool and included a private bowling alley as a recreational facility. This unusual combination of sports and leisure amenities made it a notably complete recreational space for its residents.
