Camping du Curnic, Coastal campground in Guissény, France
Camping du Curnic is a coastal campground in Guissény offering about 100 pitches distributed along the dunes with direct beach access. The site sits on protected natural land and accommodates various types of stays for up to 350 guests total.
The site was established in 1974 by the Guissény municipality as a recreational facility for the area. Management passed to two local operators, David and Manu, in 2023, marking a shift in how the grounds are run.
The Brennig Kafe on the grounds hosts weekly live music and food trucks serving regional Breton dishes. It serves as a gathering spot where visitors can share meals and socialize while experiencing local flavors.
The grounds feature modern sanitary facilities with disability access, a playground, and pétanque courts for recreation. The site connects directly to the GR34 hiking trail, making it easy to explore the surrounding coastal landscape on foot.
The grounds intentionally offer no WiFi, encouraging visitors to disconnect from devices and spend time in nature instead. This choice sets it apart from most modern campgrounds in the area.
