Camping du Bois Soleil, Beachfront campground in Saint-Georges-de-Didonne, France.
Camping du Bois Soleil is a large seaside facility with more than 400 pitches for tents, motorhomes, and mobile homes spread across the grounds near the beach. The grounds are divided into separate sections, each offering different landscapes and distances from the water.
The site has been operating since the 1960s and played a role in developing the Charente-Maritime region as a coastal destination along the Atlantic. This helped establish the area as a popular holiday zone.
The multilingual staff communicates in Dutch, German, English, Spanish, and French, facilitating interactions among international guests throughout the camping season.
Direct beach access is available from most areas, and an outdoor heated pool operates from May onward along with sports facilities. Multiple dining options including restaurants and takeaway services are located on-site for convenience.
The grounds split into distinct parks, with Parc la Mer positioned right at the shoreline and Parc les Pins offering shaded areas about 150 meters (490 feet) from the water. This layout lets guests choose between oceanfront and tree-sheltered settings.
