Camping municipal de Saint-Jean le Thomas is a coastal campground with 133 pitches distributed across two hectares of partially shaded land near the Normandy shoreline. The site sits about 50 meters from the beach with clear views toward Mont-Saint-Michel.
The region served as a passage for medieval pilgrims traveling to Mont-Saint-Michel, and traces of these ancient routes remain visible along the Chemin aux Anglais today. This pilgrim heritage shaped the character of the area across centuries.
The camping ground serves as a base for exploring local art venues and exhibitions that showcase the works of numerous artists drawn to this coastal location.
The facility opens from mid-March to mid-November and provides basic amenities including washing machines, hot showers, and waste sorting areas. Most pitches have electrical connections rated at 10 amperes, and two spots are specially designed for visitors with reduced mobility.
