Camping Lou Vincen, Riverside campground in Vallabrègues, France
Camping Lou Vincen is a campground with 69 defined pitches and 10 mobile homes set among shaded grounds beside the Rhône River. The site offers water and electricity hookups along with a swimming pool and tennis court for guest use.
The campsite was taken over in 2016 by friends Myriam and Hélène in a region steeped in ancient Roman history. The area was once a vital hub during classical times, with traces still visible in the surrounding landscape.
Visitors can explore the traditions of Provence through nearby villages, including Tarascon with its medieval castle and Beaucaire with its cave abbey.
The campground sits about 100 meters from key services and amenities, making them easily accessible on foot. It operates from April through November, and booking ahead is advisable for shorter stays.
Direct access to Lake Vallabrègues allows fishing along the Rhône banks and water activities from the campground. A children's playground on the grounds makes it especially suited for families with young visitors.
