The location was selected by the Accueil Paysan association to establish sustainable agricultural tourism in the region. This initiative supports farm-based hospitality within the Chartreuse Natural Park.
The resident family maintains traditional farming practices and produces homemade jams, apple juice, and fruit preserves from their orchard that guests can taste.
The site is located around four kilometers from Lake Aiguebelette and operates seasonally from May through September. Advance booking is advisable since the limited number of pitches fills quickly during peak periods.
Guests can participate in fruit picking and observe traditional farming methods practiced on the property for generations. This hands-on involvement transforms the stay into a genuine learning experience about local cultivation techniques.
