Camping Le Vallagnon is a mountain campground located in Laveissière at about 980 meters elevation. The site offers tent and caravan pitches, small lodging units, and standard facilities including electrical hookups and water access spread across natural grounds.
The campground was transformed into a year-round destination by Celine and Ludovic from northern France. This change made it a recognized location within the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Park.
The location connects to multiple marked hiking trails, including GR400, GR465, and GR4, which showcase the regional geological formations and agricultural landscapes.
The site is easy to access with shower and laundry facilities available, plus a public swimming pool during summer months. Most pitches offer electrical connections, so visitors can plan their setup accordingly.
During winter months, the site features dedicated snow caravan pitches near the Super Lioran ski resort. This setup allows visitors direct access to winter sports without needing to travel elsewhere.
