Pure Aventure, Adventure park in Raismes, France
Pure Aventure is an adventure park in the Raismes-Saint-Amand-Wallers forest with five climbing courses built among old oak trees. The routes reach heights of up to 12 meters (39 feet) and offer different difficulty levels for various ages.
The park opened in summer 2011 and introduced a new type of recreation to northern France. From the start, it combined physical activity with forest exploration.
The park functions as a meeting place for school groups and families who come to experience nature together in a supervised setting. Visitors connect with the forest environment while building confidence through shared physical challenges.
The location is about 30 minutes (48 kilometers/30 miles) from Lille and 10 minutes from Valenciennes by car. The park operates seasonally from March through November, so check opening times before planning your visit.
The facility features over 120 different games and challenges spread across multiple tree levels. One standout attraction is a 17-meter (56-foot) surfing feature and a 100-meter (328-foot) zip line.
