Parc Public Naturel de Pombonne

Parc Public Naturel de Pombonne is a natural water park near Bergerac featuring a large swimming lake, sandy beach, wooded sections, and open meadows. Multiple walking trails connect different parts of the site for varied exploration.

The park was established in 2000, transforming previously undeveloped land into a public recreational space. This creation preserved the natural environment characteristic of the Dordogne region.

The guinguette restaurant serves regional dishes and hosts musical evenings with performances from Easter through All Saints' Day. Visitors can enjoy local flavors and live entertainment in a social atmosphere.

Supervised swimming is available daily from 11:30 AM to 6:30 PM during July through September. The site provides free parking and accessible facilities for visitors with mobility needs.

The stream Le Caudeau flows through the park, creating diverse habitats where visitors can watch local bird species. Designated observation areas allow closer viewing without disturbing wildlife.
