Splash Pad
The Splash Pad in Plainfield is a water park featuring six slides, a leisure river for floating, play areas for young children with zero-depth entry, and vortex pools with spinning water effects. The facility also includes a lap swimming area, springboards for diving, and an indoor aquatic center that operates year-round.
The Splash Pad was created as part of a community effort to bring family-friendly activities to Plainfield. The facility underwent renovation before the 2024 season, adding three new water slides along with updated play structures and water jets.
The Splash Pad serves as a gathering place where families and neighbors connect while children make new friends during summer visits. The simple joy of water play creates a welcoming atmosphere where people of all ages can unwind and enjoy the warmth of the season.
The park opens from late spring through Labor Day and is best visited early in the day, especially on hot weekends when it gets crowded. Parking is available near the entrance, with shaded rest areas, restrooms, and changing facilities throughout the grounds.
The leisure river spans approximately 900 feet and provides guests with a slow, restful float, while the water slides reach about two and a half stories high for those seeking thrills. This mix of quiet relaxation and active excitement makes it appealing to families with varying interests.
