Les Casseroles Lilloises, also known as Bistrot de copains, is a French restaurant on Rue Solférino in the center of Lille. The space features large shared tables, warm lighting, and the smell of slow-cooked dishes that fills the room from the open kitchen.
The restaurant was established as a neighborhood bistrot built around the home cooking traditions of northern France. In October 2025, the same team opened a second address called Les Marmites Lilloises to continue this bistrot spirit.
The name of the restaurant is a direct reference to the copper pots that hang on the walls as decoration. Vintage jars, flea market objects, and softly playing French chansons from artists like Brassens give the room the feel of a 1970s family kitchen.
The restaurant is on Rue Solférino, close to the République – Beaux-Arts and Gambetta metro stations, and easy to reach on foot or by bike. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends and evenings, as the dining room fills up fast.
One of the most requested dishes on the menu is a bowl of macaroni with ham, reworked with rouchi cheese and shallots, a humble dish that has become a signature of the house.
