Stellar Restaurant - Ephemera, Restaurant in the 11th arrondissement, Paris, France
Stellar Restaurant - Ephemera is an immersive restaurant in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, spread across two levels with a space travel theme built around projections, color-changing lights, and handmade planets hanging from the ceiling. The menu features seasonal dishes with names inspired by the universe, ranging from meat and pasta to desserts, along with a Sunday brunch.
The concept started in 2019 with Chöka, a first short-lived restaurant in Paris inspired by the world of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It was followed by Under the Sea before Ephemera moved to a permanent format in 2023 with Stellar.
Stellar Restaurant uses projections and handmade decorations inspired by planets and galaxies to give guests the feeling of traveling through space. The decor was designed by a former film set decorator, which gives the room a theatrical quality that visitors notice right away.
The restaurant is in the 11th arrondissement, a well-connected neighborhood with several metro stations nearby. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends and for special occasions, as the place fills up quickly.
The restaurant has a secret room designed to look like a space capsule, with portholes through which guests can look out onto the projected space landscapes. This area is often used for marriage proposals, which is why the restaurant is also listed as a proposal venue.
