The restaurant was opened by Alessio and Francesca, two young people who had spent years working in other establishments before settling in Domaso. They chose this spot on the lakefront with the aim of serving local food and wine to both residents and visitors passing through.
Enoteca del Porto focuses on wines from small Italian producers, with many bottles coming from the region around Lake Como. The owners are happy to help guests choose a wine that goes well with their meal, making the selection feel personal rather than overwhelming.
Booking a table in advance is a good idea, especially on weekends and during the summer months when the restaurant fills up quickly. The place is accessible for wheelchair users, with ramps and adapted toilets, and high chairs are available for young children.
