The restaurant started in Madrid in 2016 before moving to Barcelona in 2018, when three former cooks from el Bulli joined together to open it. Their background in one of the world's renowned kitchens shaped the approach they brought to this project.
The kitchen draws on ingredients from the Maresme region and Catalan cooking methods, bringing together seasonal produce and local specialties in each dish.
The restaurant operates daily with two separate service times at midday and in the afternoon to manage the number of guests. It is best to book in advance to ensure you have a place secured.
The interior is deliberately raw and unadorned with bare walls and sturdy workman-style wooden tables. This stripped-down style contrasts sharply with what one typically finds in fine dining establishments.
