Zalew na Piaskach

Zalew na Piaskach is an artificial lake with sandy beaches along its shores, covering around 64 hectares of water. The lake stretches roughly 1.5 kilometers long and 400 meters wide.

This water body developed from an old sand quarry that was transformed into a recreation area. The site shifted from industrial use to a place for leisure and water activities.

This water body serves as a gathering place where local people and visitors spend time swimming, sailing, and paddling on the water. The sandy shores and water activities shape how people experience their summer here.

The water has varying depths with shallower areas suitable for entry and swimming. Visitors should be aware of different depth zones before choosing their activities in and around the lake.

Below the surface, underwater plants grow in certain zones and create an ecosystem within the lake. Many visitors are surprised to discover these living plants when exploring beneath the water.
