The ski region expanded substantially in 2015 when Fieberbrunn merged with Saalbach-Hinterglemm and Leogang, creating one of Austria's largest winter sports destinations.
The resort identifies itself as 'Home of Lässig', representing the regional Alpine lifestyle through 60 traditional mountain huts serving local specialties.
The winter season operates from late November through April, with skiing connections between all areas available from December through early April.
