Henne

Henne is a mountain in the Kitzbühel Alps with rocky slopes and steep terrain that gives it a rugged appearance. The landscape becomes increasingly barren as you climb higher, with sparse vegetation on its upper sections.

The mountain became accessible during the 1800s as Alpine tourism expanded in the Tyrol region. Hiking trails were developed to attract visitors to this part of the Alps.

Local mountaineering clubs regularly organize guided tours to Henne's peak, teaching visitors about Alpine flora and geological formations.

The ascent follows marked trails that are easy to spot, so hikers can follow the route without difficulty. A mountain hut nearby offers rest areas and overnight accommodation for longer outings.

From the summit on clear days, you can see far across the surrounding Alpine landscape and spot several neighboring mountain ranges. This view makes the climb particularly rewarding for many hikers.
